VIE Financial Controller – Zurich

About the role

Alstom is looking for a motivated VIE Financial Controller to join its Zurich site. You will support the financial performance of the location by ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance with internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Control expenses according to internal rules and coordinate budget allocation with R&D, Tender and CAPEX teams.
• Support financial presentations for functional reviews such as PRB.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities and deliver timely reports.
• Conduct deviation and alert analysis, providing actionable recommendations.
• Provide accurate data for budgeting processes and manage forex hedging reporting.
• Assist the Site Controller in monthly business reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in accounting, forecasting and budgeting, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work with integrated financial systems.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO/PS.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
