Warehouse Operator – Logistics Support (Visp, Switzerland)

About the role

Our client, a global leader in active pharmaceutical ingredient production, is seeking two Warehouse Operators for a limited‑term assignment in Visp, Switzerland. The role supports production campaigns by managing logistics from material requisition through post‑campaign stock restoration, adhering to GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for project teams on logistical matters.
• Coordinate between operations/projects and central plant logistics.
• Maintain accurate stock levels for project‑specific and operational warehouses, ensuring cleanliness and order.
• Handle goods receipts, stock transfers, and dispatches of chilled goods while preserving the cold chain.
• Analyse operational processes and propose improvements in line with safety, hygiene, environmental and quality requirements.
• Perform general tasks within the support group as needed.

Required profile

• Swiss or EU citizen with the right to work in Switzerland.
• FZ Logistics Specialist preferred; EFZ Chemical/Pharmaceutical Technologist or Laboratory Technician in Chemistry or Biology also considered.
• Experience in production or laboratory environments, preferably within the GMP sector.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, reliability and honesty.
• Willingness to optimise processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Good command of MS Office.
