Website Design and User Experience Consultant

About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a part‑time consultant to design and enhance the user experience of the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) digital platform. The role focuses on creating cohesive branding, graphic assets, and functional mock‑ups for an integrated web‑app that consolidates three existing platforms into a single, AI‑enabled ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Produce web page and web‑application layouts, UI elements, UX designs, and graphic components using Figma.
• Incorporate feedback from the GGKP knowledge‑management team and deliver final designs.
• Contribute hands‑on to the development of functional front‑end prototypes.
• Ensure designs are mobile‑first and provide a seamless experience across devices.
• Support branding and visual identity across GGKP platforms and related projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in website design, user experience, and graphic design for digital platforms.
• Ability to work remotely and deliver high‑quality outputs within a 5‑month part‑time schedule.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
