Account Manager – Central and Eastern Europe

About the role

Join Vontobel’s CEE desk as an Account Manager, responsible for managing a client portfolio and delivering high‑level client service in a dynamic banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership and manage a client portfolio, putting the client’s needs first.
• Be responsible for the revenues of the book, managing the volume of work and client demand.
• Administer client accounts (cash management, transfers, stock exchange orders, execution control, fiduciary deposit renewals, etc.).
• Monitor risk and compliance indicators to anticipate new risks.
• Guide relationship managers on KYC matters and support client meetings and investment proposals.
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of accounts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar banking position.
• Fluency in German and English; Russian is a plus.
• Strong team player with interest in high‑level client service.
• Good understanding of financial products and markets.

Required skills

• Excellent IT skills (software tools, MS Office).
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and willingness to use AI‑enabled tools.
