Account Manager for External Asset Managers

About the role

The Account Manager will serve external asset managers (EAM) for a private banking client in Zurich. You will manage and grow an EAM client portfolio while ensuring high‑quality service and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage, expand and maintain an EAM client portfolio.
• Collaborate with Advisory, Research, Risk Management and IT to create customized investment solutions.
• Review and monitor client orders, credit lines and investment maturities.
• Handle administrative matters, retrocessions and commissions.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, MiFID and other legal requirements.
• Conduct training sessions and support marketing events for EAM services.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Banking & Finance.
• Relevant certifications such as AZEK, CFA or CWMA are preferred.
• Solid experience serving EAM clients and a proven track record of acquiring new relationships.
• Sales‑oriented mindset, entrepreneurial thinking and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in German and English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of investment products across all asset classes.
• Strong understanding of compliance, including cross‑border matters.
• Proficiency with IT tools and Microsoft Office.
