Account Manager OEM

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Account Manager OEM for its Swiss sales office in Wil. In this customer‑facing position you will work directly with executive management teams of OEM customers, building relationships to exceed sales targets across industrial software, power control and process control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned OEM accounts, driving disciplined planning and sales execution.
• Lead internal and partner stakeholders to implement tactical actions that meet strategic objectives.
• Spend at least 70% of time in customer‑facing activities and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitors, market drivers and Rockwell Automation offerings.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of outcome‑based solutions selling experience, preferably in OEM sectors such as F&B, LS, CPG, Automotive or Renewables.
• Experience interacting comfortably with C‑suite customers.
• Fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of digitalization software, including cloud solutions, data platforms and edge solutions.
• Understanding of Smart Manufacturing, digitalization technologies and Connected Enterprise architecture.
