Accountant – Finance & Controlling

About the role

ANAVIA, a Swiss leader in unmanned VTOL aircraft, is looking for an ambitious Accountant to support its rapid growth. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial accounting, reporting, and cost control within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, verify, code and post supplier invoices, and issue customer invoices.
• Post daily transactions to the general ledger, prepare journal entries, accruals and reconcile bank, AR, AP and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, handle asset capitalization and depreciation.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Produce management reports, financial dashboards and analyse KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Oversee internal cost allocations, cost‑center reporting, variance tracking and contribute to cost‑control initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost‑object accounting and maintain financial master data in the ERP system.
• Act as the primary contact for accounting matters, support internal and external audits, and help digitalise finance processes.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely processing of accounting transactions.
• Understanding of internal policies, statutory regulations and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborative attitude with internal and external stakeholders.
