Accountant – Multi‑GAAP (Swiss & US) – German Speaking

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Accountant to join a lean corporate finance team within a private‑equity backed global group. The position is office‑based and involves close collaboration with local finance teams, regional business entities and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing cycles in compliance with Swiss GAAP and US GAAP.
• Maintain day‑to‑day general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, accruals, pre‑payments and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with local statutory accounting and reconcile differences between Swiss statutory requirements and US GAAP group reporting.
• Prepare local financial documentation and liaise with external auditors during audit activities.
• Collaborate with local finance colleagues and the wider group to ensure consistent accounting practices.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc accounting tasks and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional education.
• Practical experience in general‑ledger accounting within an international environment.
• Fluency in German and professional‑level English.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving attitude and ability to work well in a team.
