Accounting Specialist – Hybrid, Permanent

About the role

As an Accounting Specialist at Nestlé Waters, your mission is to manage and analyse financial information, ensure accurate accounting and reporting, and support effective business decision‑making. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with Finance and Control colleagues, internal business teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely accounting, financial analysis and reporting across assigned areas.
• Drive monthly closing activities, journal entries and balance‑sheet reviews to maintain reliable financial records.
• Prepare transparent forecasts of overheads and analyse performance against budgets.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls and compliance through audit support and statutory declarations.
• Manage treasury information, current accounts, asset records and master data.
• Coach and support the Finance apprentice while translating financial data into business insights.

Required profile

• Very good knowledge of accounting and controlling principles, Swiss accounting standards and month‑end closing processes.
• Good knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders, autonomy, accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Fluent communication in French and English; German is an advantage.
