Accounting- und Reportingspezialist (Swiss GAAP FER)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Specialist to support clients in Zurich with capital‑market ready reporting and the transition to Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS. The role involves advising on complex accounting issues and contributing to digital transformation of finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients in implementing capital‑market reporting standards.
• Lead the conversion of accounting policies to Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations.
• Prepare financial information for corporate transactions such as carve‑out financial statements.
• Support digital transformation initiatives for finance and accounting functions.
• Manage (partial) projects, develop client relationships and assist in acquisition activities.

Required profile

• Swiss CPA or equivalent qualification (e.g., eidg. dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung und Controlling) or near completion of such training.
• Minimum four years of experience in audit, advisory, or accounting/reporting roles.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and the Swiss Code of Obligations; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Preferably experience with BEPS Pillar 2.
• Fluent in German or French (written and spoken) and comfortable communicating in English.
