After Sales Service Engineer (Full-time)

About the role

Synova is seeking an After Sales Service Engineer to join its team and support customers worldwide with its patented Laser MicroJet® technology. You will work on high‑precision machines, ensuring they operate reliably in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission 3‑ to 5‑axis laser‑water‑jet machines across Europe and globally.
• Operate in clean‑room or controlled environments when required.
• Respond promptly to service and maintenance requests, providing on‑site and remote support.
• Identify, document, and escalate recurring technical issues.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and training.
• Deliver customer training sessions both internally and at client sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of field service experience (preferred).
• Technical background as a technician or engineer in electronics/automation with solid knowledge of the machine‑tool industry.
• Experience with laser technology or optics is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 60 % of the time.
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and Swiss nationality or a valid Swiss work permit.
