After Sales Service Engineer

About the role

Synova SA is seeking an After Sales Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain its Laser MicroJet® machines worldwide. You will work directly with customers in clean‑room or controlled environments, providing rapid technical support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission 3–5 axis laser‑water‑jet machines at customer sites across Europe and globally.
• Provide on‑site and remote troubleshooting, responding quickly to service requests.
• Identify recurring issues, escalate when necessary, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions for customers.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, often to clean‑room facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of field service experience, preferably in the machine‑tool sector.
• Technical background as a technician or engineer in electronics or automation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, autonomous work style, and excellent communication.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and Swiss nationality or work permit.
