AI Technical Product Manager (Remote)

About the role

Join Tether as an AI Technical Product Manager to shape the QV.AC AI assistant, a privacy‑preserving, on‑device AI solution. You will work closely with the Product Lead to turn emerging AI capabilities into valuable user‑focused features.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the QV.AC vision into concrete use cases, feature proposals and product requirements.
• Gather user feedback, conduct research and identify where AI can solve meaningful problems.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and user flows for engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups and working prototypes to test concepts.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical trade‑offs such as latency, memory usage and privacy.
• Support prioritisation, planning and backlog management with the Product Lead.
• Drive feature delivery through development, review, and release readiness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI developments and recommend relevant models or tools.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably on AI software products.
• Hands‑on experience building, shipping or prototyping AI‑powered features.
• Strong ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems and actionable requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineers and explain them to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and comfort working in a distributed team.

Required skills

• Understanding of AI concepts such as inference, model capabilities, context and evaluation.
• Experience with on‑device or local AI, model limitations and privacy considerations.
• Prototyping using design or coding tools.
• Familiarity with product analytics, user research and iterative software development.
