Application Manager – Trading

About the role

Crypto Finance AG is seeking an Application Manager – Trading to ensure the stability, availability and continuous improvement of its trading platforms. You will act as the second‑line owner for production incidents, coordinate releases and support institutional client onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operation of trading applications, guaranteeing performance and uptime.
• Manage L2 production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate with engineering for code fixes.
• Plan and execute platform releases with cloud, engineering and delivery teams, handling change control and validation.
• Support institutional clients during integration, ensuring successful conformance testing before go‑live.
• Configure system settings, maintain ticket/backlog management and drive continuous improvement of reliability, speed and scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years operating or managing production‑grade trading or financial technology platforms.
• Proven experience in incident management, root‑cause analysis and release coordination.
• Strong understanding of API‑based integrations (FIX, REST, WebSocket) and trading order‑management workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DORA.
