ASIC Development Engineer (Mixed-Signal Analog)

About the role

Belimo is looking for an ASIC development engineer to join a highly motivated team developing mixed-signal ASICs that form the core of its actuator and sensor products. The role focuses on the analog part of the chip, which is designed externally by the ASIC supplier, and is carried out at 80-100%.

Key responsibilities

• Specification and verification of the analog part of the ASIC.
• Close cooperation and problem solving with the ASIC supplier, who develops the analog part.
• Technical interface between the analog team, the internal digital part team and the internal system verification team.
• Development and maintenance of the circuit boards used for ASIC development and qualification.
• Analog circuit design of new functions.

Required profile

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a specialization in microelectronics or analog electronics.
• Several years of experience in analog circuit design and measurement technology, including requirements engineering and verification methods.
• Experience in microelectronics is a big plus.
• Interest in digital circuit design (Verilog or VHDL).
• Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on quality and enthusiasm for new technologies.
• Open, outgoing personality and business-level proficiency in German and English.
