Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

Join Kempinski’s iconic resort in St. Moritz as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Working closely with the Director of F&B, you will help ensure flawless daily operations across all dining venues while delivering the brand’s signature five‑star guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations of restaurants, bars, room service and banqueting areas.
• Maintain compliance with Kempinski brand standards, HACCP and hygiene regulations.
• Engage with guests, handle feedback and create memorable, personalized experiences.
• Induct, motivate and develop the F&B team and assist in designing training programmes.
• Help plan rotas, manage holidays, oversee stock control and support cost‑revenue monitoring.
• Contribute ideas for events, menu presentations and seasonal promotions to boost satisfaction and revenue.

Required profile

• Completed hospitality training with several years in upscale hospitality.
• Minimum two years of management experience in a comparable role.
• Strong attention to detail, high quality awareness and a structured, organised work approach.
• Team‑oriented mindset with genuine enthusiasm for fine cuisine, wines and service.
• Dynamic leadership style, empathetic communication and ability to stay confident under pressure.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages such as Italian are a plus.
