About the role
As Assistant Head of Technical Services you will support the Head of Technical Services in managing and developing all technical areas of the property. You will help ensure the infrastructure operates reliably, safely and efficiently, stepping in to lead the department when required.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily technical operations, maintenance activities and repairs.
- Participate in planning and implementation of maintenance, investment, renovation and construction projects.
- Organise the technical team’s daily assignments, lead and develop team members.
- Deputise for the Head of Technical Services during their absence.
- Manage external service providers and contractors.
- Support cost monitoring, procurement and investment planning.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, safety standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with all departments to improve technical processes, energy efficiency and resource management.
Required profile
- Completed technical training, preferably with further education in building services engineering or facility management.
- Several years of experience in technical services or facility management, ideally in hospitality or a similarly complex environment.
- Experience coordinating small teams; initial leadership experience is a plus.
- Broad knowledge of building services, maintenance, energy efficiency, occupational safety and technical infrastructure.
- Hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient use of digital tools.
- Fluency in at least two of the following languages: English, German, Italian.
- Swiss or EU nationality.
