Assistant Project Manager – PMO Governance & Agile Support

About the role

Habib Bank AG Zurich is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to support PMO governance, reporting and coordination for the GEN II migration program. The role ensures alignment with PMO standards and Agile/Scrum practices while assisting senior project managers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support PMO governance, coordination and reporting for the GEN II migration program.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, Agile and Scrum practices.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including stage‑gate and governance artifacts.
• Support sprint reporting, backlog tracking and release governance.
• Track deliverables, milestones, risks, issues and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards, KPIs and executive reporting packs.
• Assist in portfolio‑level reporting and status updates.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain project plans, timelines and dependencies.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to PMO leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and reporting practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT or a related field with a minimum 3.0 CGPA.
• 3–5 years of experience in PMO, project coordination or project support roles.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum practices.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI‑CAPM, PMI‑ACP or SCM are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
