Associate CMC Project Manager

About the role

Join Bachem’s Global Project Management team as an Associate CMC Project Manager, coordinating customer and internal R&D projects in a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage cross‑functional projects of 3‑10 members, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, scope, and contractual agreements.
• Act as the primary contact for project queries, drive ownership across the team, and maintain accurate documentation such as meeting minutes, action lists, and project plans.
• Identify risks early, propose mitigation measures, and support continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• BSc with at least 3 years or MSc with at least 1 year of experience in biopharma, CDMO, or chemical industry.
• Customer‑facing project management experience preferred; exposure to GMP environments is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills; fluent English (C1) and optional German.
