Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing – Finished Goods

About the role

As the global category leader for Finished Goods, you will develop and execute a sourcing strategy that supports Carrier's business objectives while optimizing cost, availability, quality, innovation, and speed‑to‑market. You will work closely with regional procurement, engineering, operations, product management and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for the Finished Goods category, driving productivity, cost optimisation and working‑capital improvements.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier selection, commercial negotiations and align regional teams around global governance and best practices.
• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, negotiating agreements on cost, quality, delivery, innovation and sustainability.
• Mitigate supply‑chain risks through dual‑sourcing, diversification and continuity planning.
• Partner with product, engineering and operations to leverage supplier capabilities for innovation and new‑product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management, with proven success in global category strategy.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within matrix organisations.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally (15‑20%).
