Associate Specialist in Lipids

About the role

As an Associate R&D Specialist in Lipids & Metabolic Analytics at Nestlé Research, you will provide scientific expertise in advanced lipid analytics to develop, validate and transfer analytical methodologies that support product innovation for people, pets and the planet.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project activities with independence, accuracy and scientific rigor to meet defined objectives and timelines.
• Organise laboratory activities and carry out experiments involving internal or external partners.
• Drive implementation of analytical methods and technical solutions that improve lipid analysis capabilities across Nestlé sites worldwide.
• Strengthen scientific evidence on lipids to support breakthrough innovation.
• Contribute to technological scouting and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• PhD with recognised expertise in lipid analysis using advanced mass‑spectrometry (HRMS and MS/MS) and 1‑3 years of experience.
• Ability to develop, validate and transfer fit‑for‑purpose analytical methods to support product innovation.
• Collaborative, quality‑focused mindset with curiosity, agility and creativity.
• Fluent English communication skills.
