Associate Supply Chain Specialist – Pharma

About the role

CK QLS is recruiting an Associate Supply Chain Specialist for a leading global pharmaceutical company based in Luzern. The role combines supply chain, quality and manufacturing to make sure materials are qualified, compliant and available on time for clinical production, working closely with suppliers and teams in Quality, Technical Transfer, Procurement and Manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain supply chain records in the supplier qualification system
• Assess supplier and site-initiated material changes and drive quality change controls where needed
• Support supplier qualification, including requesting audits for new suppliers
• Build supplier relationships and help identify and select suppliers
• Prepare material specifications so materials meet the required quality grades for clinical manufacturing
• Coordinate material release schedules and place purchase orders according to lead times and production needs
• Support investigations, change controls and quality risk assessments to resolve compliance issues
• Contribute to a standardised material platform and propose quality and process improvements
• Make sure material planning supports production schedules, safety, quality and cost objectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline, or at least three years of relevant academic or industry experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical quality operations, compliance, supply chain or manufacturing operations
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with a team-focused approach
• Ability to deliver small projects within agreed timelines
• Applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid Swiss work permit
