ASU Maintenance Manager

About the role

CARBAGAS AG, part of the Air Liquide Group, is seeking an ASU Maintenance Manager for its plant in Wiler bei Utzenstorf. You will lead maintenance planning, ensure operational excellence, and support technical projects to keep the gas supply reliable and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for the ASU.
• Ensure safe, reliable, quality‑compliant, efficient and environmentally friendly plant operations.
• Coordinate and support technical modifications and engineering projects together with TAR management.
• Drive continuous process improvements and leverage automated systems to optimise operations.
• Maintain and update plant documentation, including operating manuals and SOPs.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to guarantee uninterrupted customer gas supply and perform prompt troubleshooting.
• Act as deputy to the plant manager when required.

Required profile

• Completed technical education, preferably in mechanical, electrical or process engineering (FH/HF).
• Maintenance experience in a process‑oriented industrial environment such as chemical, petrochemical, or gas plant.
• Understanding of chemical/process engineering technologies (compressors, pumps, turbines, distillation columns, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.
