Audit Senior Associate – Trade, Industries & Services (US GAAP)

About the role

Join PwC's Audit – Trade, Industries & Services practice in Zurich, where you will help clients navigate complex financial environments by delivering high‑quality audits and insightful analysis. You will work on both group and local engagements, focusing on US GAAP and SOX compliance for US‑listed groups and their Swiss subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete group and local audits across non‑financial services industries.
• Perform SOX internal controls testing in line with the latest PCAOB guidance.
• Collaborate with international teams and clients, ensuring clear communication across borders.
• Integrate remote team members into local engagement teams.
• Utilise digital tools, data‑analysis software, and automation solutions to generate actionable insights.
• Develop leadership skills while supporting team and client success.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting or a related field.
• US CPA (or in progress) and 3‑5 years recent experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, PCAOB, and SOX.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Fluent English; German, French, or Italian is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for international collaboration.
