AV Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AV Technical Support Specialist to deliver on‑site assistance in client‑facing meeting rooms and experience centres in Geneva. The role involves rapid troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment to ensure smooth live presentations and demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for meeting rooms, demo spaces and client‑facing environments.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot large displays, interactive screens, video walls and collaboration systems.
• Connect and manage multiple input sources such as HDMI, DisplayPort, USB adapters, docking stations, laptops and external devices.
• Diagnose and resolve display and presentation issues during live sessions, including signal‑flow and connectivity problems.
• Configure screen resolutions, layouts and display behaviour for optimal performance.
• Support peripheral devices including touch interfaces, presentation tools, audio equipment and collaboration accessories.
• Run demonstration applications at user level and respond quickly to issues during client meetings.
• Maintain a professional, client‑focused presence at all times.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, dependable professional comfortable working directly with clients.
• Calm and solution‑oriented under pressure during live support situations.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with large‑format displays, interactive screens and video wall solutions.
• Knowledge of HDMI, DisplayPort, USB adapters and docking solutions.
• Ability to connect and switch between laptops, external devices and multiple input sources.
• Understanding of basic signal flow and AV troubleshooting methodologies.
• Proficiency in configuring display settings, resolutions and screen layouts.
• Basic networking and connectivity awareness for troubleshooting connected devices.
• Familiarity with touch interfaces, presentation tools, audio equipment and collaboration accessories.
