Avaloq Integration Engineer

About the role

As an Avaloq Integration Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you will be part of a dynamic team driving banking innovation and providing integration solutions that support exceptional client experiences at scale. You will design, develop and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Reference Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Reference Platform (ACPR/Openshift).
• Contribute to strategic integration projects featuring bi‑directional, real‑time message streaming.
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across multiple channels.
• Partner with infrastructure and release management teams to guarantee end‑to‑end solution quality, from design to deployment.
• Support testing campaigns and rollouts.

Required profile

• Higher education in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a comparable field.
• Avaloq Academy Professional Certification (e.g., Avaloq Certified Integration Professional) is an advantage.
• Relevant work experience in system integration development within the banking industry.
• Experience with Avaloq is a plus.
• Knowledge of Openshift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, Java.NET is an advantage.
• Ability to weigh problems, set priorities and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
