About the role
We are looking for an Avionics & Electrical Engineer to design and develop cabin‑related and avionics systems for transport‑category aircraft. The role involves independent system design, modification, commissioning and testing of electrical and avionic equipment during cabin completion and modification projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare system specifications, service definitions and support project preparation (RFQ, order description, material orders).
- Create layout drawings, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, item and wire lists, and manage related ECO and PCR documents.
- Develop installation instructions, ground‑ and flight‑check procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct safety, hazard and equipment qualification analyses and produce related reports.
- Administer vendor information, liaise with Avionic & Electrical Services, Airworthiness, Mechanical Engineering departments and external suppliers.
- Select equipment, components and materials; develop electrical wiring diagrams using Visio.
- Prepare ground‑ and flight‑test procedures and technical certification documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic/electrical engineering.
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Aviation or design‑engineering experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD tools.
- Good communication skills in English; German and/or French are a plus.
- Strong time‑management, proactive teamwork and a focus on quality, reliability and safety.
