Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join its innovative IT team in Switzerland. You will manage a dual‑cloud environment, including the sovereign "Sovereign Cloud Switzerland" platform, and support regional Azure workloads. The role focuses on automation, operational excellence, and leveraging emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud operations technical capabilities for the Swiss team.
• Build, maintain, and support multiple Azure solutions to meet business needs.
• Share best‑practice knowledge across international cloud teams.
• Create and maintain automation solutions for platform and application deployments.
• Monitor cloud operations, handle technical escalations, and identify new tools for improvement.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and proactive collaboration.
• Curious, adaptable learner who shares knowledge with teammates.
• Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ‑400); additional cloud certifications are a plus.
• Experience with automation and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, or C#.
