B1 EASA Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Bombardier

About the role

A maintenance organisation based at the hangar facilities of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is looking for a B1 EASA licensed aircraft engineer specialising in Bombardier aircraft. The role involves acting as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation, performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks and liaising with internal 145 MRO and PO part 21 shops.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and rectify flight problems
• Record all work performed in line with the appropriate manuals and regulations
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO part 21 shops on maintenance issues

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance
• EASA Part-66 Cat B1 licence, with at least one of the following type ratings: BD100 series, BD700 or CL 600, with 2-3 years' experience as Certifying Staff on the aircraft type
• Fluent English
• Ability to work and adapt in different environments, good communication skills and initiative
