About the role
The Institute of Mathematics at EPFL invites applications for a two‑year Bernoulli Instructor position in Probability and Stochastic Analysis, with a possible extension of another two years. The role combines teaching at all levels with the development of an independent research programme in a leading international centre.
Key responsibilities
- Teach mathematics courses in French or English, with an initially light load that increases over the first two years.
- Develop and sustain an excellent independent research programme in probability and stochastic analysis, while collaborating with institute members.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Mathematics.
- Strong background and research record in probability, stochastic analysis, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English; French is optional.
