Business Controller EMEA and Americas

About the role

Rieter is seeking a Business Controller for the EMEA and Americas regions within its Short Staple Fiber division. The role combines financial steering, analysis and decision support to drive performance across diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and mid‑term planning for the EMEA and Americas SSF regions.
• Partner with regional leaders and branch managers to support revenue growth, cost discipline and margin improvement.
• Analyse key financial and operational KPIs, optimise working capital and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide ad‑hoc analyses, scenario modelling and financial assessments for strategic initiatives and pricing decisions.
• Drive standardisation and automation of controlling and reporting processes using modern analytics and BI tools.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• More than 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in a business‑partnering role.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA or ACCA is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP.
• Experience using Anaplan for planning and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence tools for reporting and analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data modelling.
