Business Controller – Finance Team

About the role

As a key member of the Finance team, the Business Controller will act as a strategic partner to the Currency Services & Solutions (CSS) organization. You will support decision‑making through financial planning, performance analysis and actionable insights, helping to optimise margins and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with finance and management stakeholders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions and support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor business performance, identify deviations, risks and opportunities, and deliver reliable financial reports across product lines, trademarks, customers and markets.
• Conduct profitability and variance analyses (price, volume, mix, costs) to uncover margin drivers and value leakages.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment between financial targets and operational plans.
• Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards to improve transparency, automation and data accessibility.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience in Controlling, Business Finance or a related field, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing or technology‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, month‑end closing and management reporting.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
