Business Development Analyst (80‑100% FTE)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Business Development professional to support a front‑office business unit. The role combines day‑to‑day operational management with change‑the‑bank initiatives, helping the region’s front employees stay informed and focused on growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate strategic projects across functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support performance reviews, scorecards and ad‑hoc requests.
• Create and maintain KPI and reporting frameworks for regional growth disciplines such as new‑client acquisition and share‑of‑wallet.
• Prepare presentations, concepts and white papers for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate relevant information to front‑office staff, monitor follow‑up actions and provide regular updates.
• Oversee financial management, event coordination and governance of business‑specific processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving abilities.
• Independent, proactive and meticulous work style with solid project‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing a portfolio of tasks.
• Relevant higher education and professional background in finance or related fields.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience building data queries, macros (VBA) and Tableau dashboards.
• Familiarity with add‑ins such as think‑cell.
• Knowledge of wealth‑management solutions and products.
