Business Development Director

About the role

The Business Development Director will lead efforts to expand Marken’s market position within UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive financial growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and guiding a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new customers through networking, cold‑calling, and targeted outreach.
• Develop and deliver persuasive presentations that align solutions with client needs.
• Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring profitability.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by introducing new services and solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, technical, and senior management to create and execute strategic sales plans.
• Lead and mentor a team responsible for business development activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in business development or commercial sales, preferably within logistics, healthcare, or related sectors.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding market share.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating market insights into actionable plans.
