About the role
Fujitsu is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join its service sales team in Switzerland. You will drive growth by promoting Fujitsu’s extensive portfolio of IT outsourcing, cloud, data, blockchain, IoT, AI, ML and quantum‑inspired solutions across the Geneva/Lausanne market.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT outsourcing and related technology services.
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies for Managed Workplace Services, datacenter transformation, hybrid cloud and digitalisation projects.
- Conduct market research, attend industry events and generate leads through cold calling, networking and social selling.
- Use LinkedIn and Cognism to engage decision‑makers and build strong prospect relationships.
- Present the value of Fujitsu’s solutions, negotiate profitable contracts and close new logos.
- Collaborate with marketing for targeted outreach and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in IT or service sales with a proven record of acquiring new clients.
- Strong hunter mentality, persistence and ability to adapt to fast‑changing environments.
- Deep understanding of market trends and the ability to tailor sales approaches accordingly.
