Business Development Manager - Diesel Fuel

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our diesel fuel and related energy solutions portfolio in Switzerland. The role focuses on building and nurturing strategic relationships with industrial, wholesale and distribution customers, driving commercial growth across our product range.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts across fuel, mineral oil products, lubricants and related petroleum‑based products.
• Leverage an existing network of industrial clients, distributors, wholesalers and commercial partners to generate new business.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales volumes, expand product lines and secure new contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, supply terms, contracts and framework agreements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, customer demand and competitor activity.
• Coordinate with logistics, supply chain and operations teams to ensure reliable product availability and delivery.
• Handle client enquiries, resolve commercial issues and maintain high service standards.
• Prepare account plans, sales forecasts, margin analysis and regular client performance reports.
• Ensure commercial activities comply with internal policies, safety standards and relevant industry requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or business development within the fuel and oil industry.
• Established network of relevant industrial, wholesale or distribution contacts.
• Strong negotiation abilities and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage long‑term customer relationships in a competitive market.
• Understanding of market dynamics, pricing and competitor activity.
