Business Management Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Business Management Associate to join the CEO’s Office of MET International AG. The role supports senior leadership by turning strategic ideas into actionable plans and high‑impact presentations within the fast‑moving energy trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and coordinate high‑quality business presentations and proposals for executive decision‑making.
• Bridge strategy and execution by liaising with trading desks, internal functions and other business divisions.
• Coordinate initiatives across strategy, M&A, organization, and technology/AI that drive growth and process improvement.
• Act as the interface between the CEO and various functions for operational follow‑ups, representing the CEO when required.
• Monitor market developments and news in the energy trading sector.
• Conduct desk research and analysis to support new processes or tools.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving aptitude and a drive to improve organisational performance.
• Ability to produce high‑quality material quickly from diverse information sources.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex analyses into clear proposals for senior leadership.
• 2‑3 years of experience in the energy or commodity trading industry.
• Experience in management consulting, especially strategy or technology consulting, is a plus.
