Business Manager – Commodities Trading

About the role

Engelhart is seeking a Business Manager to drive daily operations and long‑term growth of its financial and physical commodities businesses across Europe. You will work with trading desks covering gas, power, renewables, dry bulk freight and financial commodities, acting as a bridge between trading and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between trading desks and support teams, ensuring alignment on initiatives.
• Maintain and improve processes, controls and governance frameworks for robustness.
• Identify inefficiencies in systems and processes and implement enhancements.
• Coordinate business controls and approvals to achieve timely outcomes.
• Lead business planning, performance monitoring and cost‑analysis activities.
• Drive cross‑functional projects that address complex business challenges.
