Business Partner / Reinsurance Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Business Partner/Reinsurance Accountant to manage a Non‑Life reinsurance portfolio within our Business Support Unit. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate treaty administration, accounting, claims handling and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute treaty administration, technical accounting, claims handling and cash management for a Non‑Life reinsurance portfolio.
• Support quarterly closing, regulatory reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Coordinate data and documentation for external audits.
• Provide administrative support to the team and help optimise department operations.
• Continuously develop knowledge of reinsurance products, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in Non‑Life reinsurance accounting with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with strong communication abilities.
• Flexible, independent and structured working style.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS 17 in an insurance or reinsurance context (a plus).
• Ability to learn and work with specialised accounting and reporting systems.
