About the role
The position of Chef de rang at L'Atelier Joël Robuchon, part of The Woodward hotel, offers the chance to represent a luxury dining experience on the shores of Lake Geneva. Reporting to the Maître D'hôtel and Assistant Maître D'hôtel, you will act as an ambassador of high‑end service for discerning guests.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate orders between the dining room and the kitchen.
- Inform and advise guests on the menu, presenting dishes with professionalism.
- Serve meals and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Train new team members and plan tasks for your rank.
- Clear tables with the assistance of a commis.
- Participate in client billing and inventory processes.
Required profile
- Hospitality or culinary diploma (or equivalent hotel school qualification).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a Michelin‑starred restaurant or a Palace 5* establishment.
- Strong knowledge of gastronomic culture, detail‑oriented, organized and team‑focused.
- Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking); a third language is a plus.
- Available immediately, with split‑shift schedule and days off on Sunday and Monday.
