Chemical and Pharmaceutical Construction Coordinator (DE/EN)

About the role

ARTELIA Industrie Suisse SA, part of the international engineering group ARTELIA, is looking for a Coordinator/Expert in site monitoring and project management for its Basel office. You will support industrial projects in the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors, with a focus on piping and equipment installation. The position reports to the office director.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in projects for new installations or improvements to existing units
• Monitor projects: planning, selection and validation of technical project directions, project purchases, financial monitoring, tenders and offers
• Act as the local contact for customers
• Guarantee quality and HSE policy
• Report to the office director on the development of local activities

Required profile

• ES Technician, HES/EPF Engineer or equivalent in chemistry or mechanics, preferably
• At least 10 years of experience in site coordination and monitoring, preferably in an engineering office in the chemical, pharmaceutical or other process industries
• Fluent German is essential; French and/or English at level B2 required
• Project management experience is a plus; open to business development

Required skills

• Proficiency in common office tools (Office Suite, Project)
• Ability to apply ISO 9001 quality procedures and ensure safety on site or at customers' premises
• Good negotiation skills with customers and suppliers, ability to work independently on long-term goals
