Client Onboarding and KYC Specialist

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a Client Onboarding and KYC Specialist in Geneva. The role supports the Front Office on new client onboarding, account maintenance and KYC review, and advises clients and the Front Office throughout the account opening and KYC review process. It is part of Client Lifecycle Management, a key first line of defence for service and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Front Office on new client onboarding, account maintenance and KYC review activities.
• Advise the Front Office and clients throughout the account opening and KYC review process, including client and bank documentation.
• Control account opening and KYC reviews performed by the Front Office (First Line of Defence).
• Ensure efficient execution of onboarding and KYC processes in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with the Front Office, clients, AML and other stakeholders to resolve onboarding and KYC-related queries.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of financial services experience in a similar role, including client onboarding, KYC review and account maintenance.
• Good knowledge of KYC standards, client documentation requirements and banking regulations.
• Experience interacting with the Front Office, clients and internal stakeholders, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Preferred: working knowledge of Avaloq and additional languages.
