CNC Technician – Milling

About the role

VAT Group is looking for a CNC Technician to independently set up, operate and monitor CNC milling machines at its Haag site. You will work on both single parts and small‑to‑medium production batches, ensuring high quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling machines.
• Program and optimise CNC programs using Siemens control.
• Manufacture parts from technical drawings and manage tool changes.
• Perform quality inspections with standard measuring equipment.
• Maintain and service machines, troubleshooting minor faults.
• Follow safety, quality and delivery standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Completed training as a Polymechanic, CNC Machinist, Machining Technician or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in CNC milling (preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Independent, precise, reliable work style with strong quality awareness.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and willing to work in shifts.
