Co-Founding CEO for FoodTech Startup

About the role

We are seeking a visionary CEO & Co‑Founder to lead the creation of our second FoodTech venture in partnership with FOOD FOUNDERS Studio. Based in Zurich with flexible remote options, you will shape a B2B food‑processing startup from technology selection to market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and select breakthrough food‑technology IP for commercialisation.
• Develop a viable B2B business model aimed at acquisition by large food manufacturers.
• Build industrial partnerships, acquire first B2B customers and drive scaling.
• Lead fundraising activities and secure investor confidence.
• Recruit and manage a core team, starting with a CTO, and define company culture.
• Collaborate closely with FOOD FOUNDERS Studio co‑founders on strategy, operations and commercial execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CEO, founder or C‑level leader in a startup environment.
• Strong network and deep understanding of the food industry.
• Demonstrated fundraising experience and ability to engage investors.
• Expertise in B2B business models, partnerships and commercialisation within food sectors.
• Excellent English communication skills.
