Commercial Engineer – Electrical Panels

About the role

ABB is looking for a Commercial Engineer to develop the market for electrical panels with panel manufacturers in French‑speaking Switzerland. You will identify opportunities, build relationships and position ABB solutions in power distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and build a sustainable sales pipeline in Salesforce.
• Attract and develop new customers by demonstrating ABB solutions and maintaining professional communication throughout the sales cycle.
• Support customer projects from discovery to completion, creating customized technical and commercial solutions with internal teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure clear communication on delivery times, terms and contract clauses.

Required profile

• Several years of successful experience in technical or project sales, preferably in electrical distribution or building management.
• Technical education or training in electrical engineering and power distribution.
• Ability to manage complex sales processes and communicate with decision‑makers at all levels.
• Fluent French (native) and a valid Swiss work permit; driver’s licence category B.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and power‑panel technologies.
