Communication & Events Intern

About the role

The Geneva Association, the think tank for the insurance industry, is looking for a curious, proactive and digitally savvy Communications & Events Intern to join its team in Zurich. The internship offers hands-on experience in international communications, with a focus on digital platforms, analytics and events, and runs from 1 January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Digital communications: support website content management and redesign, create and update digital and print materials with Adobe InDesign and Canva, explore AI and other digital tools, and document new processes
• Analytics: help develop methods for measuring research, communication and events performance, track KPIs, collect and analyse data, and build dashboards and reporting templates
• Events: support the planning and delivery of in-person, virtual and hybrid events, including international conferences, and prepare agendas, visuals, presentations and participant communications
• Logistics: assist with event coordination, onsite support and travel to international events

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, business or a related field
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks
• Analytical mindset, interest in data and metrics, and excellent written and spoken English
• Previous internship or work experience, ideally in an international environment, is an advantage

Required skills

• Confidence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe InDesign, website content management systems or analytics platforms is an advantage

What we offer

• CHF 4,000 per month through December 2027
• A mix of in-office and remote work at the Geneva Association's Zurich office
