Communications Consultant

About the role

The United Postal Union (UPU) is seeking a Communications Consultant to support the CC Secretariat in rolling out the communication strategy for the new cycle. Working remotely, the consultant will help raise the visibility of the CC across UPU’s digital platforms and ensure consistent messaging for members and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop editorial content such as success stories, member spotlights, news items and activity updates for the CC webpage, newsletter and social‑media channels.
• Propose and lead the production of a quarterly CC newsletter, coordinating closely with the Secretariat.
• Craft key messages that convey the CC value proposition and partnerships to diverse audiences.
• Design and adapt communication materials—including banners, flyers, invitation cards and infographics—ensuring alignment with UPU brand guidelines.
• Create visual assets for digital channels and the CC WhatsApp Community, maintaining visual consistency and professional quality.
• Maintain and regularly update the CC webpage with current member information, activities and news, and support the website revamp.
• Monitor and moderate interactions in the CC WhatsApp Community and track performance of communication channels.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and tight deadlines.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
