Communications Manager – Newsroom & Social Media

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Manager to lead our Newsroom and social media activities for Vorwerk Home. You will act as the central point of contact for internal and external communication, ensuring consistent messaging across all entities and countries.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the entry point for the Vorwerk Newsroom, coordinating topics with the Home‑Marketing team.
• Implement internal and external communication initiatives, with a focus on LinkedIn for the Executive Board.
• Maintain smooth workflows between the Editor‑in‑Chief, Newsroom, and social‑media teams.
• Provide easy access to information and insights within the Newsroom framework.
• Participate in daily and weekly Newsroom meetings to align entities and report insights.
• Screen content for duplication across countries and prepare narratives, Q&As, and other materials for international sales organisations.
• Build and nurture a network of communication contacts in each country.
• Monitor and align all communication activities with the Corporate Communication Strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, social media, or digital community management.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of online communities, trends, and digital audience engagement.
• Structured, flexible, results‑oriented working style with strong teamwork skills.
• Interest in food, cooking, and digital storytelling.
