Communications & Public Affairs Lead

About the role

Adnovum is seeking a seasoned Communications & Public Affairs Lead to shape its corporate narrative and strengthen its market presence in Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Executive Board, you will act as a strategic partner, advising senior leaders and driving thought‑leadership initiatives across software engineering, cybersecurity and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the corporate communications and public affairs strategy for the Swiss market.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, industry associations, public institutions and other key stakeholders.
• Advise executive leadership on reputation management, stakeholder engagement and executive positioning.
• Develop and govern corporate narratives, thought‑leadership content and executive communications.
• Manage media relations to generate visibility across relevant Swiss media channels.
• Safeguard and evolve Adnovum’s brand positioning and corporate identity.
• Anticipate and manage reputational risks and complex communications situations.

Required profile

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, media relations or journalism.
• Proven network of Swiss journalists, editors and media stakeholders with a track record of earned media coverage.
• Experience advising senior executives on communications strategy and reputation management.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss media, public affairs and regulatory landscape.
• Native German, fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
