Community Lead for Kraken Pro

About the role

We are looking for a Community Lead to build and grow the Kraken Pro community, engaging directly with serious traders on Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit and other channels. The role requires real‑time participation, creating high‑impact content, running live events and feeding product feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in community channels, posting timely market updates, chain halts, listings and other breaking news before they spread.
• Establish and manage an ambassador and power‑user program with market makers, quant desks and high‑volume traders.
• Organise and host public events such as AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions and post‑mortems.
• Gather product‑related issues from the community, deliver detailed receipts to product managers and communicate resolutions back to users.
• Produce concise, shareable content – micro‑structure threads, feature teardowns, release notes and educational posts.
• Track and report community metrics such as sentiment, share of voice, sign‑ups and retention of key accounts.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience running community or social channels for a technical, skeptical audience (crypto, fintech, gaming or developer tools).
• Hands‑on trading experience with a solid understanding of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage and latency.
• Exceptional writing ability for both short‑form posts and long‑form analysis that withstands scrutiny.
• Thick skin and strong instincts to de‑escalate heated discussions without adopting a corporate tone.
• Proven track record of building a community from scratch rather than merely maintaining an existing one.
• Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment without waiting for lengthy approvals.
